Information About Pakistan

Following is the list of newspapers in Pakistan. With Urdu as the national language and English as the official one, majority of the newspapers cater to such demographics. However, regional language newspapers also maintain a sizable circulation, with Sindhi language newspapers leading the way.
Most of the news sources is owned by a few media conglomerates with Jang Group, Nawai Waqt Group and Dawn Group constituting majority of the dispatches. All of these groups existed before the independence of Pakistan and have now created niche in both print and broadcast media. Other smaller but significant media agencies include Khabrain Group, Express News Group, Business Recorder Group, Sahafat Group of Publications (owner of Daily Sahafat, Daily Dopahr and Daily Economic Times) and Media Times Ltd (owner of Daily Times and Aaj Kal newspapers).
